ORGANIZATION

Research areas

Aside from participation in multicenter research projects and logistical support to local teams, the CIC has focused its development on its own research areas. A balance has been found between industrial and academic research in order to preserve an adequate level of self-funding and scientific production.

The CIC focuses its research activities on four areas that combine clinical and fundamental research :
Infectiologie
Infectious diseases, in collaboration with the UMR Inserm 1092, the National Reference Center for Cytomegalovirus, the Bacteriology-Virology-Hygiene Department and the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit, which is subdivided into two scientific focuses

Microbiology and resistance mechanisms (dynamics of acquired resistance via cytomegaloviruses, resistance to antivirals (hepatitis B and C)) Infectious diseases in critically ill patients ("Emergency Trials") (Sepsis, ventilator-associated pneumonia).
Pharmacologie
Pharmacology, in collaboration with the Pharmacology-Toxicology Department and the UMR Inserm 1248
Pharmacologie
Pharmacology, in collaboration with the Pharmacology-Toxicology Department and the UMR Inserm 1248
Immunosuppressant pharmacology in transplantation (kidney, liver, heart, lung transplants, stem cells, translational research with pharmacogenetics, kinetics, proteomics, toxicity mechanisms), nephroprotection in kidney transplantation, pharmacogenetic risk factors in oncology, therapeutic individualization of antivirals.
Immuno-hematologie
Immuno-hematology in collaboration with UMR CNRS 7276
Immuno-hematologie
Immuno-hematology
Development of early trials (biotherapy) and lymphoma (elderly, marginal zone, NK/T), Immuno-hematology focus: immunoglobulin deposition diseases and immuno-pediatrics.
Ultrassons
Ultrasound in collaboration with the Intensive Care Unit, for diagnostic purposes in critically ill patients
